I can't wait to drive this car and check out the interior. This seems like the first car in a really long time Toyota has put a **** load of effort into it to truly make it best in class. I really hope Toyota's US Engineering team takes on more responsibility in product development, since it's extremely clear to me the boys in Japan have lost the plot.

i dont think that grille will be as noticeable in real life, since all these pics are from perspective of your head being on pavement so it looks big, but from 6 feet above, you wont see half of it, plus reg plate will hide a lot of it...

I know this sounds crazy but the "sport" mode really tightens things up in the ES. Hell no, its not an IS F or a 911 or anything but it damn near drives like a different car in sport from the steering feel to the accelerator to the suspension.
So there is hope. While it might be sporty for an Avalon and this class car though, it won't be some autobahn burner. But IMO the sport mode is much preferred.

The grille looks a little awkward when viewed from certain angles in photos, but dead on it looks awesome and in the real life video during the Autoline you can really see the detail in it. I can't wait to see this car in person.

Looking at his young CL career, he'll have a history of classic posts like "Looks like a fish.", "Looks ugly" or "Looks like the Predator" unless a moderator does anything about it. Let me guess his next post: if not bashing a product, it will be all praise for the next Hyundai or whatever company he's shilling for.

Toyota needs to learn from Hyundai on making cars with good stance.
On another note, the ALL NEW Camry rear bumper sides flutter at highway speeds.
Just bad design. Toyota is rushing to make changes. The company is not structured to introduce fast changes. and the result is very clear.

Their corolla/camry design divisions are staid and very conservative. Now all of a sudden they are going for aggressive, edgy styling. That is a big change for them. A Big ship is not as maneuverable as a small boat.

i just checked Camry forums, and not many people complaining about anything...
if anything Toyota is still too slow, they have let their models to get really old, there is really nothing fast about redesigns.

I actually saw a 2012, I looked at wonderful design and saw nothing of what you are claiming. Another Camry passed me this time I was doing 75mph and again I saw nothing of what you claim.
