Official dealer support

In short, I won't ever buy a Tesla if there are ZERO Tesla dealerships in my country

No way I'd be stricken with range anxiety for the duration of my trip.

Plus, these are coal powered cars we're talking about, which enviro-whack jobs conveniently forget.

The tesla is very high on my list for potential cars because it meets most of my criteria for an electric car.

1. Looks
3. Charging station infrastructure
4. decent range/horsepower
5. reliability?

At this point in time I wouldn't choose any EV over a comparable ICE.

The Tesla is nice but at the price they're asking you can get an ICE car that is better than the Tesla at everything..

"So when an electric car is plugged into a wall outlet to charge its batteries, there's a good chance that the electricity is coming from coal...so when people drive "clean" or "green" electric cars, extended-range electric vehicles or plug-in hybrids, it's ironic that the energy used to power them is actually part of the cause of pollution."

Apparently 50% or so indeed does! Thanks for the education!

I would defintely consider a Volt, I have the RX for long trips so the electric car would be strictly commute + errands. Would fit perfectly in my life, I really should put more thought into it haha.

Wrong. CA passed a law forcing HOA's to install EV chargers when an owner has the need for it.

not necessarily! we can choose our power providers in Texas and 100% wind produced energy is available at prices comparable to conventional.
