Agreed. The 200-230hp hybrid engine will probably be the base engine in the IS/IS coupe line-up. It will probably replace the 2.5L 3GR-FSE currently found in the IS250.
This will be the model that sells in bulk. But there'll probably be another engine slotted above this base hybrid engine : possibly the GS450h engine transplanted into an IS body?
So (my speculation) :
Base : IS300h : replaces the IS250
midtier : IS350 : carryover engine in the new IS chassis
Top of the line mainstream model : IS450h or some V6-based hybrid like the 450h
ISF : new V8??

Imagining a Lexus LF-CC Sedan
Photochopper Theophilus Chin has created a sedan from the Lexus LF-CC coupe concept:
While the front and rear are relatively untouched, this rendering demonstrates the flexibility of the LF-CC design — it’s easy to imagine the concept as a coupe or sedan, and that cohesiveness is very appealing.

Nice chop, looks very good
Yes the hybrid engine is important for Europe and that will probably be the best seller,
but introducing a concept car that looks that aggressive and seycy as hell its a shame they went with the weakest engine in the lineup. They should have foreshadowed the force induction engine , it is a concept car after all . I dunno, thats just my opinion

The similar wheelbase is practically confirmation that this is the new IS chassis.

Lexus LF-CC Concept NOT the IS Coupe, but a preview of upcoming GS Coupe
It seems that despite what most of us thought, the LF-CC Concept is not previewing upcoming IS coupe, but the GS Coupe first speculated in July 2011. Here's the info from 4WheelsNews below:
Lexus LF-CC Concept previews the upcoming GS Coupe
Lexus LF-CC Concept previews the upcoming GS Coupe
As you may know already Lexus will introduce the all-new LF-CC Concept later this week at the 2012 Paris Motor Show and all the media said that the car previews the new IS. Well, it appears that things are not quite like this, as the car turns out to be a coupe version of the GS sedan. Still, we don’t say that the media reports are wrong, as the new IS will carry the new spindle grille when it will make its debut next year in March, at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. Regarding the GS coupe, Lexus will build such a car as Toyota president Akio Toyoda wants to revitalize the Toyota and Lexus brands with sportier cars. Everything began with the Lexus LFA supercar, but we all know that the volume was limited. Toyota will also revive the Supra and it will develop it with Bmw. Regarding the LF-CC, this concept uses a the 2.5-liter, four-cylinder gasoline engine coupled with the high-output electric motor found in the new ES 300h Hybrid. The system will deliver a total output of 200 hp and the power will be delivered to the rear wheels.
