Where in my comment did I say the ONLY measuring stick? Stop trolling people's opinions because you don't agree. Porsche mentioned the lap time, they felt it was important. What's your gripe with me about? Take it up with their marketing department or whoever published the time.

I've always been a Porsche nay-sayer but I have to admit, they're really ahead of the curve on this one. REALLY AHEAD.

Thanks for typing those exact words for me

Hilarious hypocrisy right? For Lexus to even mentioned in the same breathe is amazing let alone the 7:14 time. I mean here we are talking about a LEXUS lapping the RING as fast as the best Porsche has to offer. Its mind blowing.

Now the "Ring" doesn't mean anything and suddenly THE TOP measuring stick everyone uses is no longer important and valid.

Hilarious.

and I don't care who laps faster, both cars are incredible and this 918 is just amazing to me.

you need to chill a bit, Porsche released ring numbers so it can be compared to others.

I like it... interior is rendered though?

It was a sarcastic/tongue in cheek comment. To bad you missed it.

That was certainly an exception to Porsche's rule.
