In some areas it's nicer (richer, cleaner interior). I think compared to the new Accord and other recent entries, the current Camry is one to two generations behind. Ball was dropped. Or an opportunity was missed.

i wonder which markets this one is for.

Sad part is we had the Aurion here, The last gen camry was only available as 4 cylinder model, and if you wanted the v6 you have to get the Aurion, which in my opinion was adecent looking car. Now it seems they have axed the Arion. The new fugly camry engine's range from 4-6cylinders.

This car is not meant to win any awards or wow auto enthusiasts. Its goal is to provide no nonsense transportation with four doors in this vehicle segment.........and where I'm from, this car is meant for executives and businessmen who need comfort when traveling on the road.
