I love the car but it's not the most practical. If I had two cars, that would definitely be my second car.

Only Acura I would consider is an NSX and those are few and far between. Even then, it would have to be a second car, not my DD.

Here's a private seller 08 ISF with 37k miles for $28,500 -

Both prices seem a little low but I haven't really checked kelly blue book values so I'm not sure.

I think if you upped you price to $35k you could probably get a really nice used ISF.
I'd be dangerous with that car. Unfortunately, there aren't any within 500 miles of me, even for $35k.

Definitely on the list. There is one a hundred miles from me that I will probably take a look at. '07 with 44k miles for $27k. Nothing else around, even for $35k. They're just few and far between.

Leaning towards the GS. I've read too many stories of BMW failures, not to mention, they're overpriced when compared to Lexus and MB with similar options.

Kia Optima - I don't think you would enjoy long term since you've owned a Lexus.
Lexus CT200h - If you've had a 350 this would be a drastic change, speed, interior quality, MPG, etc

also a CPO'd BMW is a possibility...
GS350 - Liking the GS, front runner at the moment.
MB C350 - I'm curious about the reliability. Is it poor?
Genesis Coupe - How sporty is the Genesis sedan? I've found quite a few with low miles around $25k. Putting it on the list and will probably take one for a spin.
Kia Optima - I was thinking the same thing (kind of goes along with Acura as well)
CT200h - it's low on my list, probably not going to make the cut

Yup, sport is looking strong assuming reliability isn't a downer. Considering I won't buy a new car (not going to take the depreciation hit), I won't be in the market for a new IS for 3 or 4 more years. By then, they'll be used ones that I can jump in to.

Weaksauce to go from an IS to a car 5 speed auto, FWD, slow, less tech car that is being discontinued.
Nailed it!

Well the IS ended up be a total loss as I expected. Did some shopping this weekend and came home today with an '09 GS350. A CPO with about 37,500 miles, paid $32,600. No pics yet but here's a link to the Cars.com link: http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail...aff=national#4

Thanks for all the input and I couldn't be happier with the selection!

Smokey Granite Mica. My IS was also SGM so I know what it takes to keep it clean, but yeah, sometimes it's a PITA. Just need to keep a good wax coat on it and it's not such a big deal.
