+1

They need to have L-select for the IS and GS as well. Preferably a no-cost option.

white as in?

sounds like today + canarnet, with other two - light gray and tan brought to the modern times (hated them before).

"White" like today. 06-8 IS tan really was tan and camel colored. This one is whiter like parchment

Not sure how I feel about the white/blue interior. It reminds me of those modified civics with painted interior.

The black/red is hot though!!

Slightly off-topic:

Hmm........I have an electronic .pdf brochure for the BMW M5 (F10). It states that their are numerous color options (if you like wood or piano black or if you want black seats or brown seats or white seats or whatever).

With that said, the electronic brochure is the International Version (primarily catered to the German home market).

http://www.bmw.com/com/en/newvehicle...?download=true

You would have to consult with your local BMW dealer if customization options are available for your market/territory.

BMW has Individual option with more color choice, AMG has Designo series, Land Rover has Ultimate version for the Range Rover. Come on Lexus, bring us L-select here! I don't mind paying extra for unique color combe!

L-Select is like BMW Individual, it is Higher quality, not just customization. For Euro market M5, you can order around $9k-$10k worth of "BMW Individual" (color, leather, inserts, etc).

Not to be outdone by Google, it appears as though Toyota is developing an autonomous vehicle of its own. Our spy photographers have just sent us the 1st images of a self-driving Lexus LS 600h L prototype.

The vehicle in question was spotted just outside of Toyota's Michigan headquarters earlier on Monday. The vehicle itself looks to be a standard-issue LS 600h L, but there is nothing stock about the hardware this prototype is carrying.

The LS prototype was fitted with roof-mounted hardware similar to Google's autonomous, but also featured a number of censors and cameras located in the front grille. Google's setup is a little more streamlined than Lexus', indicating the Japanese automaker could have some catching up to do.

Google relies on Toyota and Lexus vehicles for its autonomous vehicle program, but all signs point to this Lexus being an in-house job. Toyota is reportedly targeting a 2016-2017 launch date for its 1st autonomous vehicle, with the LS a logical candidate. Self-driving technology is far from cheap, and the $120,000 LS 600h L is Toyota's best option to hide those additional costs.

Toyota has lots of fine tuning to do before its launches its first self-driving car, so keep an eye out for further developments.
