2016 Acura NSX Spied for First Time at the Nürburgring
New spy photos rolled in today showing a car we have been waiting on for quite some time, the all-new 2016 Acura NSX.
The first next-generation Acura NSX concept made its debut in Detroit back in 2012, and the car spotted today at the Nürburgring seems to carry over about 95 percent of that original design. A few noticeable changes are a slightly revised front fascia and new hood vents over the front wheel arches.
A mid-mounted twin-turbo V6 provides grunt through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, but that won’t be the only power source. Each front wheel will have its own electric motor powering it as part of Acura’s Super-Handling All-Wheel Drive Setup, known as SH-AWD. There will also be another electric motor in the rear and all together, the system should add up to produce around 500 hp.
Honda has set the bar high for the new NSX, benchmarking it against cars like the Ferrari 458, McLaren MP4-12C and the Audi R8. Acura previously said that the car will cost somewhere in Porsche 911 territory, which carries a range starting from about $80,000 up to $180,000. Wherever the price tag lands, Acura claims that this will be a great performance bargain.

i would normally say i wish they were but those on the nsx have an angled lip all the around where the spokes are closest to the tires
which i like more than the bbs which have a little lip on the lip that it looks like youd clip wheel weights onto
though of course youd never put that on the face on your F1's maybe showing off both factory options??

Not true. The engine going into the NSX is completely different and unique from a J series V6 Accord. It is a brand new 90 degree DOHC design.

I spoke with my local dealer again today.
They don't have any real info.
All the guy can tell me is that they know they will receive 1 and that I am first in line.
He added that they are still being told that the first cars will not be built to customer orders (hard to believe but not much is surprising when we are talking about Honda/Acura).
When the car is dropped off the truck they will start calling customers to see who is really interested.
