Why the Lexus jab on a Lexus owners forum? Lexus didn't tease the LF CC for 100 years. It was a concept, it got approved, its coming.
The 2nd NSX was to be a V-10 like the production LFA. Well one made production and is now considered one of the all time greats and the other never was built and is now a V-6 hybrid.

not a jab at all, and you're right, the new nsx has been a ridiculously long time in gestation. i should have written lf-lc (not lf-cc which i guess is the new rc), which is already 2.5 years along and probably isn't going to be here for a while yet... but it's a gorgeous car for sure!

V6 was fine back in 1990................not in 2015. Both the new Lexus coupe will be V8.
If Acura gonna down level the NSX so much, they shouldn't make it at all, just keep making leather wrapped Accords with LED headlights.

GTR uses a V6. Does it suck? The NSX is on a normal timeline if you wanna get technical. Like the LFA it was in limbo. The HSV racer in SuperGT WAS the NSX, but got canned and we all seen that story. So the cancelation of that was around 2010(?) and now 4 years later you see a brand new NSX. While the LFA switched direction to carbon fiber, the NSX switched its entire design. The HSV is FR, the NSX is MR AWD Hybrid. This is an entirely new car from the V10 car seen on the ring around the time the LFA prototypes were. On top of it, Honda NA is doing the car. So when you look at this gestation period, remember that the first car (HSV) was to be a front engine coupe. The NSX that you see here shares very little with the 'HSV'.

As you noted, Honda Japan wants nothing to do with the car and told N/A if they want it, they can build it.

It seems that is nowhere near the production engine so that sound is another .
The LFA is on another realm, you can't compare the two. The LFA is a full blown exotic on par with the best ever made.

The difference is, the new NSX will suck and the new RC-F and SC-F will rock
