This car while fast and a technical marvel, it just lacks passion and soul. Almost like a very fast accord hybrid. Watching the review videos with the car going around the track is like watching an F1 race, zzzZZZzzzzZZZ. Where's the drama and hair tingling sensation that it people should have even if its just watching the videos? For $156k, it should make its owner feel even a little special. This car, just doesnt feel special.

Why would it make anyone's banker other than the automaker's banker feel special? Do buyers of these cars buy it for their bankers?

I kind of feel the same way about the new NSX. Its an awesome car, in the same sense that the GT-R is an awesome car. Its just too computer controlled for my tastes. I'd rather have an Audi R8 V10 or a new Z06 Vette, both of those cars have a just ridiculous sounding and powerful engine under the hood.

I personally think they tried a little too hard to match its competition that it did not stay true to the purist. With that said, I would like to know what all the fuss is about anyways...

How would you know unless you have driven it? How can you feel or get drama, passion, soul, and hair tingling sensation through just watching a youtube video? I guess if you want drama and hair tingling sensation from videos there is the video of a RS4 driver trying to keep up with the new NSX with his gf telling him to slow down on a winding road where he is losing control a few times and ends up flattening his tire.

Here is a video from inside the factory. All that dipping and 11 coats of paint on certain colors is amazing. Never saw anything like that when I worked in a auto plant paint shop.

'true to the purist' what does that mean? like a 1985 Ferrari 348? there are NO modern exotic sports cars that aren't super complex electronic beasts.

really? what do you mean passion and soul?

you'd rather it had bad handling? all modern exotic sports cars have spectacular handling, with abilities FAR exceeding 99.9% of those driving them.

For $156k, it should make its owner feel even a little special. This car, just doesnt feel special.
LOL

those two may have more cylinders and sound, but they also both have a ton of computer-control. my favorite feature of a vette is the magnetic ride control which wouldn't be possible without fast processors. without it the handling (and comfort) would be far worse, but maybe that's what you want.

that's only 10-15% so not that bad really... and if the same person wanted BOTH it's not surprising they have to pay extra.

while this isn't the worst example of a stealership , it still sux to see the customer having to go over list

I have doubts about the delivery timing of the second car as I don't believe anyone was able to order their second allocated car yet and we don't know the order of the second allocations

Oh I know, they both have pretty advanced electronics as well. Its just that in the Vette at least, you shift your own gears, and if you want to be stupid and do donuts or powerslides, you can turn off the computer controls and it becomes an analog car again.

Some NSXes in the last video were Hondas. Cool.
