Aron,
I tried and tried to get a factory pick up, no go.
The folks that run that factory are basically a reincarnation on the three stooges plus a circus monkey calling the shots (not a good thing).
The info on the factory tours should be released next week and tours will start happening. Worth it to just go and tell them what flavor of idiots they are.
The tour will have bunch of fun and potentially pricey options ; the NSX factory, the Anna engine plant (with the option to build the engine for your car), the Honda Heritage museum, 1 or 2 days of track time in an NSX. I would like to the the NSX factory and Anna engine plant.
I couldn't get a confirmation from the NSX specialists assigned to manage customer relations when my car might ship (the info they get is pretty weak).
I called up the shipper, Pilot and got a confirmation that the car is ok to ship and they expect it to be on a load they will ship next week. The trip from Ohio to Wisconsin should be same day so I am hoping to have the car by the end of next week.

Mine is $173,300 without the CF this and that.
It does have the carbo-ceramic brakes, alcantara seat inserts, and headliner, power seats, upgraded hifi, nav and park sensors.
There ain't no other mid engine exotic car with that much tech and performance at that price point.

In a perfect world it would only be 150K fully loaded but why would you expect it to cost only 150K optioned out? It's main competitors cost more, some are much more when you option them out and none offer the unique powertrain or the beauty of the NSX. The bespoke engine, bespoke DSG, bespoke hybrid system, bespoke platform make it very expensive.

Journalist Crashes 2017 Acura / Honda NSX In Taiwan, Blames A Bee [w/Video]
What may very well be the first recorded crash involving the new 2017 Acura NSX (marketed as a Honda outside North America) occurred in Taiwan today, when a man, who is believed to be a journalist conducting a test drive for a local car magazine, hit a road barrier on a highway near New Taipei City.
The story gets a little bit strange, as reports coming in from Taiwanstate that the 27 year old driver who was identified only by his surname, "Hu", told police he was driving with his window open when a bee suddenly entered the NSX and stung him on the neck causing him to lose control of the hybrid sports car and smash it on the barrier.
No one was injured in the crash. According to Chinatimes, police conducted a sobriety test on the driver, but he came out clean. There's an ongoing investigation into the accident.
The new Honda NSX is worth around 12.8 million NT$, or about US$408,000, in Taiwan, with only nine cars said to be allocated for the country.

If he's not lying about the bee, then there is nothing funny about this story. I was recently stung by a bee on my neck while riding a motorcycle, and it hurt like hell! Had to pull to the median and sat there until it became tolerable, and when I finally got back on the road the helmet strap rubbing on the bite made it even less pleasant.
