We do, just old people forget quickly sometimes. We also have technology days for customers. I've spent hours with people trying to teach them. There is just SOOO much stuff you can do with them and people are not willing to learn or try either.

The infotainment system Lincoln uses is actually really good. I've hear customers complain about the Lexus system and how much they like the Lincoln system. Everybody has different opinions though.

Problem is Young people like Lexus and old people like Lincoln. Who is gonna be better with the newer technology, old or young? Younger people are just better with new technology most of the time.

Take these "Consumer Reports" and "JD Power" surveys with a grain of salt IMO. Every maker has great, bullet-proof cars, and some real turds in terms of reliability/cost of ownership. Ford vans come to mind for being bullet-proof, while the auto tranny in the Focus and Fiesta is in my experience a real POS. Easiest solution is to buy a Focus/Fiesta with a clutch pedal, as it really livens up any 4 cylinder powerplant.

Anyways, my point is to do your homework on various automotive forums like this one. A little research will show you if there is any major problems with a new car design. Buying in that first model year of a totally new design is always a risk. Although I will say I trust a first year Toyota, Honda, Subaru, or Mazda over any other car make, as they have any sort of mechanical/electronic defect nailed down way before they release the car to production.

GM, Ford, Chrysler, BMW, Benz, Audi, VW, Mitsubishi, Nissan(yes they SUCK way worse than even Chrysler or VW), they all have had problems with some of their first year cars since the beginning of time.
