Just further reinforced my thoughts that the Japanese Product planners/engineers are woefully out of touch with the American market. Just look at the effort put into the American Avalon compared to the Japanese Camry.

while I hope that every Toyota gets mini-Avalon interior, in reality, Avalon starts at 50% more than Camry.

Can't stand the front end (hideous), but other than that it looks like a nice car. My parents took a 2011 for a spin, and while it was a nice car overall the interior felt extremely dated, like something out of the 1990's. This is definitely a big step up here.

The front end is a styling disaster, it's like they had two different designs and couldn't decide so amalgamated them both.
I like the interior though, even if some of the plastics look a bit cheap.

GREAT JOB !! I would still rather the ES. It looks more stylish and of course there is the stellar Lexus dealership experience ( usually LOL). I feel like the grille on the new Avalon looks a bit Ford Fusionish . Not sure if I like it
