My bad... I seriously thought this was the new ISF.... Oops.... I am still kinda new to the Lexus Scene. Been an Infiniti guy for 6 years....

I was gonna say the same thing, just didn't feel like typing it out.

When the 3IS come out, the 3IS-F won't be out for a year or 2, so yes in a way people can call it "discontinued"

You cracked me up there, but in a way, you are not that far off, the next IS-F will pretty much looks like that, a bit bigger in size, spindle grill...........etc.

You always refer cars to their chassis generation, this is the 1st IS-F, but it is a 2nd gen (IS) "F".
