I am so sorry for your loss. But there will be better days to come. Those pictures were pretty hard to look at. I knew Sandy caused some severe flooding, but seeing the water remains that high up on your seats...it would've been difficult to recover even if the vehicles were still functioning. I know how you feel, I lost my car as well. Mine was lowered, so it was flooded up to the roof

for the next big flood, find the highest parking garage in the city, pay the fee, and park it there, take the bus home.
