Perhaps what we are looking at is the luxury trim. I hope the sport trim gets a 3 spoke steering wheel.
That steering wheel reminds of the kind that rotates but has a stationary airbag center, like in a Citroen. Also keyless go has always been an option

The current S-class dash already looks old school and the new iseems to be going even more to that direction ...

Interesting, I see two auto buttons on the dash for climate. Seems like there will be separate auto zones for driver and passenger.
It is so weird that the S class has its own interior design theme when all other MB cars have similar elements (which I find more appealing to be honest). Didnt really like the bulbous round center console on the current model and dont really love it on the new one either.
