my understanding is that your insurance should cover the loaner car same way it covers your own car. For this case, it is considered as part of the comprehensive coverage so you would pay your deductible. If you do not have comprehensive, it is out of your own pocket.

I don't see how a few hundred dollars' repair would raise your premium much, if at all.

all they do is remove the door panel, change out the glass, then clip everything back together.

Some states don't permit deductibles for glass breakage--I think.
