what I would like as a Lexus owner is some money for Lexus having to open up the engine in my LS460 and GS350 to replace valve springs. It was ridiculous and embarrassing. All went well but it still left a bad taste in my mouth. At least they stood up and faced responsibility

No word about getting the settlement money yet but I'm not expecting it any time soon. May be up to a year or more before the checks are cut since there's usually a lot of legal stuff they have to take care of and the lawyers are now guaranteed a payout for their "work" so there's an incentive to drag things out a bit.
My advice is to forget about the money and sooner or later there will be a nice unexpected gift waiting for you in the mail.

I did it too. $412 was the allowed loss. The next 2 model years after mine were about triple this amount.
