smh....
Mid Size class
5 series-8,385
E class-6,984
GS-2,796
A6-1,875
MKS-1,350
M-849
RL-18 -
So basically the top 3 made huge gains and everyone else was flat or down.
I was curious about the LS since the December to Remember event DID NOT include incentives for the 2013 LS.
Flagship Class
7 series-1,422
LS-1,286
S class-1,110
A8-900
Equus-350
LS had a solid month and Hyundai has to be super happy with the 300-350 the Equus captures every month. A8 had a really big month

Now yes incentives helped, but the key fact remains that the 4GS is a GREAT car in almost every measure. A mediocre car, even with incentives, would not sell very well.

Well put. Interesting to see how much of a gap the top three widened between themselves and the rest of the pack. GS sales dramatically increased while A6 sales were pretty much flat. That to me shows how well the GS is doing.

Now Lexus needs to put more effort in spreading word about how good the 4GS really is.

How so? The Genesis matches the GS spec-by-spec. They are definitely in the same class from a technical standpoint (though of course we know the GS has better refinement). The ES is also in the same "midsize luxury class" as the GS by the way, but the ES is special because it's also in the "entry luxury class" by price. The same can be said about the Genesis too.

Well no one says "midsize luxury" automatically requires "sport" in the equation. The 2GS in particular felt pretty unsporty too in stock form.

THIS IS completely INACCURATE. When the 2GS came and out won multiple awards it was b/c it drove sporty and like a coupe. At the time the only sportier sedan was the E39 5 series. A number of us had a 2GS when it was the "bad boy Lexus" so please don't dare re-write history about it. For its time period, the GS was as good as a sports sedan as you could buy.
