Its possible I think they still put "TOYOTA" on the front of the FJ Cruiser. Never too late to go back to it!

THANK YOU so much for posting these! Unlike most people, the Lexus LX was one of the two models as a kid that brought my attention to Lexus. Growing up I always liked both the 80-series and 100-series Land Cruisers, especially their Lexus counterparts. I've followed them very closely since the late '90s. I'm guessing the design proposals for the FJ80 are from circa 1985-1987?

I'm certain the ones for the LC100 are from 1992-1994, as it's design was definitely frozen in the summer of 1994. That seems so early considering how it went on sale in March 1998! It's interesting to see how the creative process of my favorite modern Land Cruiser generations took place. By the way, the factory photo with the Toyota emblem wouldn't be late '80s, as it must be the MY1995 facelift and would've been photographed no earlier than 1993(1 year+ factory testing).

i'm glad you enjoyed the pics! As for late 80s, what i ment was ( Late 80 series models ) As you said 1995 + models.
They are fascinating cars. The addition of the LX even made things more interesting.
