Rain over - Pix of 2013 BMW 535i CBM
Well finally the SoCal rains are over until next weekso decided to take some pix of the new car to share with you folks.
My first BMW and I love this car. I have had several GS's in the past. After buying our MB GL last yr, I wanted to taste the BMW as well and seems like it was a great choice.
I got the MSport w paddle shifts, Prem, Driver assist, NAV/SAT/Traff (Not tech) pkg in CBM with blk interior. Love the color.
I guess i do have some leeway when it comes to modding so I have considered a lip spoiler and 20"rims. Understanding the LCI next yr and the 4 series (M4 is drool worthy) I think i made a good choice of leasing to give me some buying power later. For now, loving this car.
Note: some pix taken by my 7yr old. He loves this car. (iphone pix)
Tints coming soon.

Thanks all. When I went to the dealership, they had few M5's placed around and I almost went for it but not now. Even the 3 series look very nice with M package.
Hoovey....I did jump on those BMW December specials. They were tooo good to skip. I really got a killer deal on this. BTW, I had buddies who complained about previous gen i-Drive but the one i got came with their just released and newest incarnation. It is so easy that my 7 yr old was playing around without an issue. Looks like they have fixed one of their biggest mistakes. Next step is tinting and it just cant stop raining here. Also something i even asked the Bimmer forums that I am a member of now is that when putting the car in reverse, ONLY the pass side side view mirror tilts down not the driver. Apparently, its by design??? Odd.

Yes, in BMWs only passenger mirror tilts down in reverse, and only if your mirror switch is on driver's mirror position. If you put the switch to the passenger mirror, even that one won't tilt down...

Very sexy car, and great pics by your 7 year old! Yeah M-Sport is totally the way to go, otherwise the F10's look like Toyota Camrys. I like the newer shifter design in the BMWs now too. Our E70 X5 has the earlier electronic shifter that looks and acts too much like a flappy computer joystick. Had an X1 for a loaner with that same newer style electronic shifter and liked it a ton better when in manual mode.
On LHD / drive on the right side of the road cars, you're most likely to be parallel parking with the right side of the car nearest to the curb, hence only the right mirror angling down and the left one staying level so you can see behind you. The rear and top view cameras on a lot of the cars now make this a piece of cake, but if not so equipped it still comes in pretty handy.
