Its a nice car, but after looking at the 4GS. It feels so plain. I never liked the 3GS, but i'm sure allot of people on here do.

I think both are nice in their own regard.

Of course, in most cases, newer = better.........and in the case of the Lexus GS, I believe that in an overall sense: 4GS>3GS.

HOWEVER

The advantage that the 3GS has at the moment.........is the GS460 itself. Currently, there is no V8 engine yet for the 4GS (it may come or it may not; this depends whether Lexus is really willing to make a 500 HP GS-F).

Until then, the 3GS GS460 is your only chance to get a V8 engine in a Lexus GS as of the current moment.

Oh, and the 3GS 460 comes with an 8 speed!
