TOP GEAR Korea ZR1 chase helicopter crashes...caught on video

I was a pilot once myself, but in fixed-wing aircraft, not helicopters. Nevertheless, from what I do know about helicopters, it looks like the turbine engine might have flamed-out in the sharp turn...possibly from the helicopter's high angle-of attack in the turn disrupting the air flowing into the engine and causing a compressor-stall. The blades kept turning because of autorotation (which usually happens when a helicopter loses power and starts falling), but the pilot was obviously too low (and in the wrong attitude) to set up a proper emergency autorotation descent and flare before touchdown.

Glad nobody was "seriously" hurt, which I take to mean that the pilot probably did suffer some injuries but not serious. Soft sand or dirt or whatever that was probably saved the pilot since it seemed to absorb a lot of the impact! People on the ground were pretty close by too, wow what a close shave!
