v10 and v12, gosh...
Just got a chance to watch this video. The Enzo is obviously louder with straight pipes, but the LaFerrari definitely sounds more fierce and it is pretty damn loud for stock exhaust.

Do you guys know the redline of the Enzo is only 8k? The LaF is now 9250 rpm..........progress!

yup, over 9000 rpm in a v12, that's not easy at all with so many cylinders firing. and i agree that the la ferarri exhaust sounds a lot more refined too

Is hard to say they will do it again as the MC12 was the 1st of it's kind. They might though.

Is hard to rev that high with a long engine life.

That's just because the Enzo got straight pipes. Straight pipes make the sounds rough. But seems like the LaF rev up quicker, but it could be the result of the way each guy's apply the throttle.

Yeah I believe the MC12 was in part to celebrate coming back to racing after 37 years or something like that.

I was partially joking just because I want to see them name it LaMaserati, but I'm down for another hyper exotic Maserati too

If they make the car, I highly doubt they would call it LaMaserati. LaFerrari is a one time thing and it is already lame the 1st time, repeat it again with Maserati would be beyond lame

I'm still mad about that. So many cool italian names or alphanumerics they could have used and they settled on LaFerrari ..

Com'on now, TheFerrari signifies it is THE ONE. But lets be real, Enzo 2002-2004, FXX 2005-2007. Means the next Hyper Ferrari after LaFerrari will be even better. Not like they are going to stop producing a Hyper Halo car after this ones production end. What were they thinking

Luca di Montezemolo made up the name, he likes it, he is the boss, so that's the name.

Sergio Marchionne should have gotten the last word . Alas he was probably too busy fixing Chrysler during that time
