Default Secret driver greeting/protocol?

I've noticed Corvette drivers make a "V" sign (with index and 2nd finger, with hand on steering wheel) as they drive past one another. Is this some secret protocol?

I wonder what would happen if Lexus drivers did something similar, like make a "L" sign with (thumb and index finger) as they drove past one another. Lol!

Default Waving etiquette

The "Peace" sign is universal acknowledgement between similar drivers.

It's commonplace with motorcyclists.

I typically have three reasons why I signal "Peace" to other drivers:

I've never seen so many waves and peaces signs as with Mini drivers. They are crazy

Might (?) have something to do with the Corvette's traditional "V"-shaped emblem:

Land Cruiser owners get excited when they see other Cruisers driving by as well, no v business just a nice simple thumbs up (Y) Specially if the RIG is modded.

I see jeep people do it a lot, personally, I'm not going to wave at some random person I've never met before just because we both have a similar car.

I hear Lexus people throw up middle fingers as a universal sign

Hahw to be honest though most Lexus owners are either too cool or don't even acknowledge me when I throw up a peace sign

I'm guilty of that one........I have a tad bit of road rage.

Other than that, I do greet people I know. It's a habit picked up from growing up in a very small town.
