I'm 35 and take my two kids to school in a 335i convertible.

I had my mid-life crisis early.

GT500 would get my vote of those listed. I chose an LS 460 L for my 40th. I wanted a car I could drive every day.

Viper, or GT500. Vette is ok, but I don't like GM much LOL.

I hate cliches -- all of the other choices in the OPs posts screams cliches. Why can't my mid-life crisis car be easy to live with??? For that reason, the GS450h F-Sport(realistic choice) or the upcoming GS-F (dreamer's choice).

Oh yeah, I also have a unexplainable love affair with sporty 4 doors.

Kind of want to do that myself someday.....would definitely choose the Philippines.....been there and loved it.

I have time to plan though...I'm 23.

Maybe I'm a bit old school, but I've always wanted one of these. My best friend's dad had one back in the 90's, exact same color as the one in the movie. I can still remember being 7, 8, 9, 10 years old and how damn tight that back seat was. It was that same silver/grey color as the 928 in Scarface, but was a few model years newer, as it has wheels like this one but a bit more silverish in color. I remember it also had that rear spoiler, interior was a sort of brown/burgandy leather.

...but its all up to the buyer...I personally don't like modding the crap out of a car/engine to get desired HP.

Also, Porsche/BMW require a warranty...it will get pricey to fix (anything)
Viper cannot be a daily driver
Z06 is cheap to fix, cheap to maintain, and a comfy daily driver.

If you have something to drive daily I say either a viper or a 60's muscle car that has been restored/professionally protour modified. The old car will be fun as hell on the weekends and something that will stay "fresh" for a long time, and you do not risk pulling up to a light and the guy next to you having the same ride. That is what I would do if I had $60K to burn.

Go for a new 'Vette....but wait for the new 2014 C7 model. It will have a number of improvements, especially inside.

yeah, but the key word here is "crisis", getting a sport sedan would not considered as something dramatic for anyone 40 year old or not.
