Isn't the check mark DRL only on the IS? My wife is looking into getting the new Accord and I really didn't see the connection.
It's such a basic shape I didn't really associate with any particular company. Kinda like round headlights or tail lights.

Am I the only one who thinks LED DRLs on mainstream vehicles like the Accord, Kia Soul, and Optima are a little gaudy/out of place for this class of cars?

The civic never really screamed derivative to me, but to each his own.
And i agree that it is very easy to confuse an oncoming 2013 Accord V6 front end with an oncoming Lexus GS in your rearview mirror.

If we all accept this knockoff practice, which unfortunately is generally accepted in Asia, we will see cars everywhere with generic cookie cutter styling that will bore your socks off. Which already is rampant everywhere in Japan's domestic market and even worst in China.
