Isn't the check mark DRL only on the IS? My wife is looking into getting the new Accord and I really didn't see the connection.
Actually every Lexus in the US that is sold with LED DRLs, other than the CT, has a check mark shape.
Am I the only one who thinks LED DRLs on mainstream vehicles like the Accord, Kia Soul, and Optima are a little gaudy/out of place for this class of cars?
I have confused them quite a few times already . ....... whats hilarious is the Accord has LED's and the ILX doesn't have one LED light let alone the rest of the Acura lineup.
Think of it this way. 1. if the LED didn't do that check it would look pretty bad with the grill and headlight design. 2. Be happy Honda is using modern tech.
Another automaker used design cues from another automaker. gasp call the press . Isn't the first and won't be the last.

If we let this go unscathed the terrorists would have won.
If we all accept this knockoff practice, which unfortunately is generally accepted in Asia, we will see cars everywhere with generic cookie cutter styling that will bore your socks off. Which already is rampant everywhere in Japan's domestic market and even worst in China.
Yeah i noticed that too when the car was released. On the road even though the Accord doesn't have a spindle grill i easily confuse it with the new GS.
