it's not free. it's factored into the overall cost.
but about the debate here as to whether people should care one way or another if an ipad is 'included' (not free) with the car given its cost, they're missing the point.
the point is this was something new... instead of handing a bunch of dry dead tree mass, aka a paper book, with the car, why not hand out something cool like an ipad? personally i think they should have gone with something generic, hyundai branded, so it wouldn't be perceived as obsolete so quickly, or heck, even a kindle (would cost WAY less).
but luxury is about excess, surprises, uniqueness, and yes, sometimes things completely irrational (like 1000HP in a Veyron ).

And yes the iPad is factored into the Equus, but i am not sure if it makes too appreciable of a difference. I mean, would Hyundai really sell a 57.5k base Equus in order to cut out the iPad? Lol. That would be interesting though.

The iPad was a clever marketing tool but who leaves an iPad in a car when it can get super hot inside? Or even super cold. It was IMO a good idea and heck lowers weight since our GS manual weighs around 200lbs and takes up too much room.

I might consider a used one like this 2012 with 4k miles if I could get it for under $40K (listed for $44K)..but probably not....they don't hold their value at all 2012 for $44K
