Man I hate the later model C3 Corvettes. They took a pretty cool design(68-72 Vette) and made it look like a two month old corpse, completely bloated. Plus the technology and horsepower took about 10 steps backwards from what they were offering at the beginning of that model run, before emissions controls crept in. 220hp, carburated v8=lamesauce.

I owned a '69 show car for many years I sold 5 years ago.Great design but the C2,especially the '67 is the best older generation.
Interesting tidbit on the '80.
In CA,the '80 Corvette had a 305 CI engine while all other states got the 350.
