MA Lexus Dealership Experience
As the owner of 2 subarus and previously numerous hondas, I am new to the Lexus family. I purchased my 2011 IS-F a few weeks back and wanted to have it serviced at a dealer. I picked Herb Chambers Lexus on Rt 1 in Sharon, MA right down the street from Gilette Stadium. Maybe all Lexus dealers are amazing but I was seriously impressedwith the service. When I pulled in I was asked if I would like a water or apple???? and everyone was extremely professional. I had my own service advisor bring me into his office and go over everything in detail. I guess they wash every car that gets serviced and the service rep said he would have my isf hand washed instead of sending it through the carwash with all the other cars. . After I left his office I went by the guy stationed at the shoe shine station! lol. I thought that was kinda weird but cool. I was brought up to the second floor to the customer lounge/cafe. The cafe had coffee/juice/espresso etc, sandwiches, muffins etc and it was all complimentary . Nice leather chairs/flatscreens and even the bathrooms were ridiculously nice. Their were even flatscreens over the urinals. On to the important part.....I mentioned to the service rep that the headlights had a small bubble inside the housing and that the drivers seat back moved just a little bit if you leaned back hard. Long story short he immediately made another appointment for my car and ordered new headlights and a new seat without blinking an eye . The pricing was probably a little exaggerated but the receipt he gave me after said their were $6000.00 in parts....all under warranty , and they would give me a loaner lexus so I didnt have to wait at the dealer. I cannot say enough about how impressed I was with Lexus and Herb Chambers! This may be an average experience but coming from other car brands it was great!

HID lights and factory seats ain't cheap man. I have a GS, the lights are $1,200 each, and thats not even full list price. I would guess a factory seat is probably $3k.
Glad they took care of you, there is a reason Lexus ranks among the best for customer satisfaction.

Forgot to add that I kinda looked like a scrub as I had one of my First-Class Plumbing work shirts on, work pants and sneakers and my bruins hat, but it made no difference in the way I was treated. I definitely felt a little out of place but it was a great experience none the less.

Being from MA, it is great to hear when anyone from there is friendly.
I used to get my S2000 maintained at high priced Herb's shop on Comm Ave.
With an oil card I paid about $12 for an oil and filter change, a free car wash, an apple and a lift home if I didn't want to wait for the car.
I tried buying from them a few times and never liked their sales experience (in Boston)
I believe things to be different in Sharon, where he has his Lexus shop.
Didn't he build a bigger better Lexus shop? When I lived in MA, he had a pretty basic one.
It is easier to enjoy your car when the dealer adds to the ownership experience.

I used to buy my Hondas (car and snow blower) and my Volvo in RI at Majestic.
The economy is thin in RI and the dealers there tended to be more willing to work with me on price.
In 96 the dealer in Brighton MA wanted $5K over list for an 850R wagon. The guy in RI gave me about 10% off, located the car for me in CT, and brought it back on a flatbed.
