For this video we wanted to convey a sense of luxury to go with the new S-class so we got with our friends at the Mph Club who granted access to this smaller airport about 30 minutes north of Miami. It also meant buying a bottle of Dom P and we also posted some Padrón Cigars since Jav is an avid Cigar enthusiast and we are exclusive with them. Yes we drank the Dom P and it was great, I think an 03…We wanted to really showcase the car thus a lot of focus on the interior and we had to move into a parking deck at the end so you could see the different ambient lighting. Note we changed the color for you to see the different options.

Lease deal on the S is not good at all. Got a quote from dealer, 3k down and 1900 a month! Lol. I guess
I will have to wait till next year when the heat cools a little. :/

Yea even the sales suggest to come back 6 months later.

The car is in short supply and there is no incentive whatsoever.

2013 S class with similar Msrp could be leased at around 1k a month earlier.

i would jump on the '13 lease now, get a 2 year lease, then get the new S after that when the price is cooled down

Not to mention gives time to work out any teething problems the '14 S-Class may have (I haven't heard of any thus far - but I'm not on mbzworld either)

We started hearing about a lot of problems related to the brakes which squeal constantly at low speeds. Brake pads are being changed out. Also the run flats keep getting bubbles in them. We are talking about all four tires with multiple bubbles within the first thousand miles. Those are being changed out on goodwill also. And lastly, there are issues with oil leaking out of the gasket which is weird because the engines are not new

darn, i just read mbworld... 15 real TSB's already issued, lots of rattles and poor fit and finish (interior parts not aligned),,, and none of these are what RXSF posted. It seems fuel injectors are being replaced as well.

So much for that.

Wow interesting. Really makes me want to see this next gen LS. The way Lexus is owning JD Power in problems per vehicle makes me think every i will be dotted and every t crossed, then gone over again with a fine tooth comb for good measure. Cannot wait to see whats in store !

I read the MBworld forum threads as well. Rattles and TSB's are very real, tire bubbles come with the territory when you run low profile tires in pothole infested cities. You'll notice everyone complaining about the bubbles is running the multi-spoke wheels.

The fit and finish threads are really interesting- a lot of people were posting pics of how a panel could look misaligned from one angle then perfectly aligned from another.
