Default A bittersweet goodbye (mostly sweet)

I haven't been really all that active on this forum but have been around since I "ordered" my lexus back in December 2005 (delivery in 2006 or may)

Anyways, after 7 years of ownership, it's time to say good bye to all of you and this wonderful forum. The community and information available on CL has been absolutely amazing! Thank you everyone

I sold my 2006 gs300 to a local dealer and am awaiting delivery of my car (hopefully within the week)

Thanks, wish you all the best

-Bhuwan (sent from my phone)
PS any guesses as to what car I am getting next?

If you want to leave CL, fine, bhuwan, but there's no reason you have to, just because you no longer own a Lexus. Here on CAR CHAT, we discuss anything on four, three, and sometimes two wheels. We have Moderators and Editors who don't (or no longer) own Lexus products.

Bimmer? That's (probably) the second-most popular brand on CL after, of course, Lexus.

Agreed. Owning a Lexus product is certainly not a requirement for "membership".

so many people here never had lexus and many had it at one point... no need to leave, who knows what will happen in 2-3-4-5 years... and no better forum to discuss all things car than car chat!

Great point. I barely visit the 2IS section anymore. I'm always in Car Chat

Good luck with the Tesla. And yes, there are a number of us recovering Lexus addicts still around here.

It appears that you are one of these people!

I've had the car for a little under a week and I am completely blown away by it!
