Default Freeway driving

We have been here a week now and it is our 6 th time to drive in Florida. But this time it feels like I'm always in the wrong lane. In the uk we have a fast lane and slow lane.
Also this time they give us a x5 should that make a difference.

What is the best lane if sticking to the speed limit.

I've seen loads if nice is250/350 but no isF

lol. we have highways and interstates ('I' roads) in florida, not freeways (that's pretty much a california term i believe).

if sticking to the speed limit, i'd suggest the middle lane if a 3 lane road. the left lane, people want to pass go faster, and the right lane is typically for slugs or people getting on or off the highway.

you in orlando area?

If you're on an interstate, the SAFEST thing to do is go with the speed of the rest of traffic. Many dangers inherent in driving slower than that, despite what the speed limit says, and all of them come from other drivers trying to pass you and doing so with varying levels of politeness (or lack thereof).

farthest right lane is considered the "slow" lane usually OP. Most annoying is when you get pokey's in the fast lane

The law, though, is generally based on speed limits.....with some leeway for certain factors. What we (meaning you or I) would consider "pokey" speeds, and how a judge or prosecutor in traffic-court might view that term is two different things....apples and oranges.

Slow traffic to the right....however, it seems like nobody gives a flying ***** about that these days...they just get on and drive how they want where they want. I wish you the best of luck. I've never been to Florida, so I don't know how bad it is there. Drivers here can be absolute jackasses on the interstate.

Utah's not so bad. Try LA Going the speed limit in the left hand lane is a death warrant
