I think it's been confirmed that unfortunately TLX wont be the new Euroccord. Believe it or not there will be a successor only due to Australian Honda lobbying, somehow they manage to sell side by side EU and US Accord with great success. Honda HQ was very close to dismiss the model all together and that's why it wasn't even in the development and now it will probably take two additional years to roll out the new model.

In the mean time you can go to your EU Honda dealer and grab it with extensive discounts. They aren't selling.

By the way, will this new car become the next ACCORD EURO?

You know the one that's supposed to be the successor to this car featured below?

Yeah the current "euro" has been out since 2008. There was talk about this TLX being the sucessor of the current euro. But unfortunately the TLX is not available in RHD

The extra power over say the Honda Accord variant is 90% useless because most all of that power comes at 6000+ RPM where you'll almost never be driving at. It will all come down to torque band and gearing, and the weight of those massive wheels they have at the corners.

The BMW 320i probably has about the same power despite the 180hp rating, way more torque, and also has an 8-speed automatic (or 6MT) and does 0-60 in the mid/high-6 range. Huge torque advantage, and RWD traction. I dunno... It might do it in the sixes, but I wouldn't characterize it as being easy.
The small torque deficit can easily be mitigated by a clever gearbox.
However Honda's auto boxes have never been that good, hopefully with these newer ones they have improved..

you guys in USA are lucky you have so much good choices when it comes to cars.

But I'm glad that I'm not the only person here who find this new TLX a compelling package. Lol

The proverbial action shot.

I can't find the one I'm think of but it's a Lexus IS in almost the same environment. This will have to do for now lol

I don;t know where do you live but Europe had so many more choices. Not only car manufactures but engines too.

Price is subjective when you compare one country against 50 Each have their own power of affordability.

i will say again, unless they price this very VERY competitive it'll get stuck between rock and hard place. people not into brand will just get an Accord V6 sedan, people want brand recognition will easily jump to an IS, 3 series or the new C class if they price the V6 SH-AWD model near $45k.
