Is it just me or is there NOTHING exciting happening at Lexus?

I agree however I am not against the materials in the es350. I am against the non standard options that should be standard on a supposed luxury car.

The GS may have the same powertrain, but with virtual no weight gain from 3GS to 4GS, and the best handling characteristics of its class, not to mention more usable space, milestone interior etc.. you can't say it performs worse than the last generation when it really doesn't.
Now that's what I've been waiting for. I'd like to hear more about the GS-F because that's what I'm looking for in my next Lexus. I don't want a bore mobile anymore and I don't want a micro car either. I want something that'll carry people comfortably but F'ing MOVE when I hit the gas.
On another note, I like the Toyota Avalon a lot more than the Lexus ES. I'd love to see the Crown sold in America. I think it's a pretty nice car.

It's not just this forum. Notice how the Hyundai/Kia posters are no longer around as their news/sales have tapered off. Just one example.

I guess the RC-F and GS-F just made the entire premise of this thread irrelevant.

Yes. A lot of this shady forced PR/guerilla marketing is sickening to me. South Korean companies are by far the worst offenders, and I'm not just talking about automotive companies either.
