i doubt it, considering rest of the competition is same or worse.

they will simply make more money :-)

I agree however I am not against the materials in the es350. I am against the non standard options that should be standard on a supposed luxury car.

Makes me wonder if this forum is full of paid bloggers to spread FUD about Lexus and Toyota. Some of the posters here sure make it more and more plausible.

I know... I gave it to "Cadillac" as well with the V6 only CTS. I hated it...

I'm pretty sure the current GS is a few ticks slower to 60 and the 1/4 mile than the outgoing version. Still, I know it's a nice car and all - just not for me with it's lack of power.

Now that's what I've been waiting for. I'd like to hear more about the GS-F because that's what I'm looking for in my next Lexus. I don't want a bore mobile anymore and I don't want a micro car either. I want something that'll carry people comfortably but F'ing MOVE when I hit the gas.

On another note, I like the Toyota Avalon a lot more than the Lexus ES. I'd love to see the Crown sold in America. I think it's a pretty nice car.

I was just talking to a friend today about trying to "import" a Crown to the US.

That would be a cool and unique car to be driving around in.

For sure. But the ultimate consensus of our conversation was that if we're going to import a Crown, we might as well import a Toyota Century. But then we'd probably need to hire a chauffeur.

It's not just this forum. Notice how the Hyundai/Kia posters are no longer around as their news/sales have tapered off. Just one example.

I guess the RC-F and GS-F just made the entire premise of this thread irrelevant.

Yes. A lot of this shady forced PR/guerilla marketing is sickening to me. South Korean companies are by far the worst offenders, and I'm not just talking about automotive companies either.
