You might want to see an optometrist

Ohh the M5 rendering, it's 90% of what I want it to be, only gripe is it looks too much like my X6M.

While this may look like a lot like the prior gen, I think this one just has much better details and lines. Overall I think this is a major improvement.

Wow this is such a big difference!!! ....... not...... it looks to me more like a mid cycle refresh than a whole new 5 Series. Looks better for sure but I just wouldn't justify going running to change the prior gen for this one

Looks like a bigger honda accord. Bmw is going more mainstream with all the chrome trimmings

this makes the f10 body have even more value. F10 is one of the best sedan design ever IMO.

Definitely evolutionary design and i still prefer F10.
Performance wise its great improvement though and weighs about 200lbs less even though its packed with more tech/safety features.

Still best looking midsize sedan imo.
Reminds me of a perfect tailored suit.

BMW just makes handsome looking cars, never overstyled but never boring

It does look a lot like the previous gen. With the exception of Mercedes, the Germans seem to be playing it safe these days. B9 A4 looks like B8 A4. B9 S5 looks like B8 S5 (except for the front). New 5 Series looks like previous 5 series. Even the Koreans with the old and new Kia Optima. (But then, I think the Kia designers came from German brands.) They seem to just be sharpening up the lines a bit and leaving it at that. Maybe that enables them to sell more used cars coming off lease.

Lexus is definitely the revolutionary brand these days when it comes to styling changes, good or bad.

Also, I guess I've been out of the loop, but BMW has switched from orange interior lighting to blue? Nice to see. I know pilots use orange lighting because it is easier on the eyes, but I just don't find it very upscale. I think the blue looks nicer and will blend well with interior LEDs.
