Some of you might mistake the gauge has no tachometer. I think the one showing the blue gauges are eco mode.

Oh, i see what Fizzboy is saying. This would bother my OCD... The Tach for the rev meter starts at the 9 o clock position, while the tach for the speedo starts at 7 o clock. Ugh. they are not starting at the same position.

New A6 is due out soon, so not really fair to be showing the old A6.
Looking at the interior pics, they butchered the tachometer. Now when driving at normal highway speeds, it's going to look like one is stuck in a low gear and the engine is over-revving. I hate it when manufacturers mess with these needles. Give them both the same 8 o'clock starting point and don't make them look like they are dead and falling off the gauge or revving too high during normal speeds.

That's why I stick by my prediction that the G30 will continue being the most handsome and dynamic-looking vehicle in its segment. E-class looks nice but the design language didn't turn out as well as it did on the S and C-class. It looks super understated. The refreshed GS is nice but is still the oldest vehicle in the segment.

The only time the interior of the new 5 from the pics made me appreciate the new design language was the chain-mesh metal trim. Metal on the interior was always a dull afterthought, usually reminding me of someone wrapping their plastic parts with a 3m wrap. The chain mesh design looks awesome, hopefully thats not some kind of weird dull piece made to have 3d print on top.

Off topic, but I have to say that I love the fact that you have two BMWs and a KIA. That really shows you are open-minded and just go for the best all-around vehicle in the segment. The Sedona is nice.

BMW just revealed the new 5 Series last week, but the company didn't plan on the powerful M5 leaking out so soon. The images come from Cameron Vanderhorst, host of the Cammed and Tubbed podcast. He said that they were sent to him from someone at BMW. As you can see, the images show CAD models of a 5 Series with an M badge on the back.
We can also see that this M5 will get an aggressive front fascia. The chin spoiler is quite deep, and the air vents, in addition to being larger, are also set deeper into the bumper. The changes at the back are subtler. The basic shape remains the same, with larger sections for exhaust and a faux diffuser in the middle. It also gets vertical rather than horizontal reflectors.
We're expecting a twin-turbo V8 that if BMW is to be believed, won't make more than 600 horsepower. Autocar believes the engine will be a version of the current M5's 4.4-liter V8.
