criticisms like that are generally from journalists or people who either wouldn't or couldn't own any of these flagship cars so really not relevant. all these flagships are vault like, including 7 and a8.

Looks very nice, exterior looks very nice and more sedated then the current one, interior is interesting and hopefully the quality is there, I like the round vents, they look upscale to me although I like regular speed/rpm gauges instead of digital impressions of round gauges. I was not very impressed with the last S classes interior when I sat in it considering how much they cost I thought it would be more special and quality would be better. I still find the A8 to have the nicest interior design but the exterior is a huge step down from the previous model.
