Rumors says no FR-S convertible OR turbocharged versions after all

Simple rule of economy.... Supply and demand. As long as there is demand, there will be supply. The market is now wildly awaiting the faster frs version. It will come in time.
If i was Toyota, I would not make it turbo charged, or supercharged, or hybrid.....simply i would bore the engine to 2.3, improve DI system, better throttle body, forged internal, high flow quality exhaust, reduces weight. Any of those above will transform the FRS

Car is capable for way more hp. what would be the price for 300hp engine model? It can't be cheap. 35k-$40k otd? Now we talking it at the same league w/ 370z, but the twin is way lighter car if they use turbocharger. Toyota/Subaru team didn't plan to produce this car in that price bracket. They just want to make this car got the platform and setup ready out the gate for user to mod and price it at $25k base. That was their goal.
