However,

A loaded A5 is basically the same price as a loaded S4. Now, interior-wise, the cars look exactly the same. However from the outside, the A5 still looks better than the S4, but the S4 is unquestionably the bigger performer.

I think as soon as my dealer can get some S4's in, I'll definitely want to take a look to see if the S4's beefier engine can outmatch the sexiness of the A5.
First welcome!! Second, NICE write-up

Third, S4 is a stealth rocket... I've driven both (and S5 with V-8)... THAT is the car... RS5 is front-heavy, even with handling adjustments extra $$$ don't justify (although I haven't driven yet) cost for move up to RS5 from S5...

S5- just a pure sexy beast

Maybe I'm just used to seeing the more upper trim models, but that A5 looks really plain to me.

Like I mentioned, the A5 is not only very difficult to capture in photos, but the Cuvee Silver specifically is a very off/plain paint that doesn't reflect light very well. That and yeah, it being a Premium Plus trim with the standard metallic trim can make the interior look pretty bland.

The titles make it clear to me, its pretty easy to figure out the 3 different packages on most Audi's.

Its still a great looking car and now outselling the G37 coupe.

Audi got the most important thing right in regards to coupes, the looks. Proportions are fantastic and people love the LED drls.

The back seats on the a/s5 are roomier and has more headroom than the g37.

Will this same color/package be available for the A4?
Are you talking about the competition package? I'm not sure, I think it's only available on the a5. Only colors available in the USA are Misano Red, Ibis White, Glacier white and Daytona grey. The blue is called Sprint blue I believe and only available outside the USA.

Don't be mad. Daytona Gray or Glacier white would look good too.

True, but you will have to get the prestige package....or was it the cubic zirconia package to add the s line package.

LOL....sorry...it's from the Honda commercial where the salesman tells the couple they had to upgrade to the cubic zirconia package to get the heated seats on the minivan.

Hey Guys,

Just purchased my first non Japanese car in my 25 years of driving cars.

This Audi A5 is the most solid, quietest, most stable car I have ever owned. More so than the Lexus IS350 I recently had and 100 times more so than the Celica. I didn't realize how loud the engine, tranny and how much noise the plastic panels make while driving. The one great thing that the Celica did well was grip and handle. Especially with the Eibach/KYB combo and 17x8 rims with 235/40/17's.

I'll start by saying I always admired German cars but was deathly afraid of their reliability. I started to take notice that the Audi brand was getting more reliable as the years went by so I decided to take the plunge and ordered a Misano Red A5 with the S line competition package and 6 speed manual on the 4th of July. The Car finally arrived on November 2nd.

Here are some pics of the car. Not planning on modding the car, but if I do I may add 15mm spacers all around and that is about it.
