I'm sure other trucks could break this record. Its still impressive nonetheless, the new Patrol is a fine vehicle. Nissan needs the publicity, specially in the Middle East, because the LAND CRUISER dominates the market. You rarely see Land Cruser ads in the Middle East because they have nothing to prove, everyone already knows how legendary the Cruisers are.

2012 sales figures in the Gulf ( GCC )

TOYOTA LAND CRUISER 200 - 68,164 vehicles sold - ( 3rd best selling in the region after the Hilux and Corolla )

Lexus LX 570 - 14,635 vehicles sold - best selling luxury 4WD in the region .

pretty sure the Tundra was assisted with robotic "jacks" under the space shuttle. Impressive by the Nissan Patrol, but seriously a F-Super Duty, Silverado/Sierra HD, or Ram HD would be more effective

i am referring to the 4 door ( Y61 )
The sales numbers are probably for all the models excluding the pickup - SWB ( 2dr) /LWB (4dr) Y61 - and the Y62.
