I love Supras, but if you've seen one Supra race video you've seen them all. At the start of the race the other car pulls TRAIN LENGTHS and takes off. Supra has massive turbo lag. Supra's turbo(s) finally spool. Car fights for traction up through the gears. Other car is still way ahead. Finally the Supra hooks up in 4th or 5th gear and pulls the train lengths back and passes the other car, at very very very high speeds.

That's 5 plus years ago. Now there are options like quick spool valve and EMS's (Pro EFI) that essentially brake boost at any speed along with advanced traction control that adjust boost automatically based on wheel spin the game has changed. With the proper setup launching Supras are no longer a traction fight. I will say cars like the GT-R have brought these kind of options out for Supras.
