Siri integration! That's a big one! Does anyone know if it's a first, or has any other car of any make already had it?
Hopefully the upcoming trackpad-driven UI has design input from Apple too.

Apple has already lined up BMW, General Motors, Mercedes, Land Rover, Jaguar, Audi, Toyota/Lexus, Chrysler and Honda to make in-car Siri support a reality within the next 12 months

Yes, the way I understand it is that the kickdown mode will make the (e-)CVT feel like conventional automatics, with fixed ratios just like the manual mode, but with automated shifting.
