Lol are you kidding me? I'v e seen tons of these in Chicago, more than the new cheaper ATS.

Care to explain how this car is half assed?

Glad you mentioned it...hasn't GM themselves said that the XTS was just a band-aid? They needed something while waiting for the new CTS, and are still a year or so away from releasing a true flagship a la S, LS, 7, etc. XTS is a stop gap.

I expect that once we have that new flagship model, the XTS might be relegated to a more "ES 350" type of position in the lineup. Right now, that's really what it is, but it's too expensive.

It sells poorly on the West Coast. Car savvy and choosy Californians aren't buying it.

The ES350 is the bestselling car in Lexus line up so I’m sure GM wouldn't mind that. I probably would never buy one for 71k but it's so funny to hear what people would do instead with their money. It's very obvious the car isn't for you. But I can guarantee the very older crowd would love this vehicle. I see Cad all the time.
I can guarantee a preacher is probably at the dealership looking at one right now.

Oh come one, take that bourgeoisie attitude elsewhere. This car makes sense here because we have poor roads due to rough winters, they happen to be very straight and don't have many elevation changes.

Well, someone is buying them, and I'm sure that the west coast/California is getting their fair share of the sales.

sales last month were a little over 2k, so not lighting it on fire, but not terrible.

The Cadillac XTS Vsport is powered by a twin-turbo 3.6 liter V-6 engine that makes 410 horsepower and 360 lb-ft. of torque. This model has a starting price of $62,095. A best 0-60 MPH test run of 5.6 seconds was accomplished with the Drive Mode set to "Sport" and the Traction Control switched "Off"

Totally agree...especially after some of the other nice vehicles GM has done lately. The only improvements in the XTS over the DTS it replaces are the nicer interior materials, the better fuel mileage, and the more modern flexible drivetrain and its AWD option. Other than that, the XTS, IMO, is a joke.....especially in the comfort/refinement departments, where, IMO, it rides and drives like an econobox.

not impressed at all either with this... why would GM make another vehicle almost identical to the CTS-V... plus my 14 year old GS does 5.7 mph 0-60... lol
