what makes you think the person KNEW the guy had a gun before shooting the video?

I doubt it. What are the chances that someone is pulling a gun out as your shooting a video on the freeway?
The driver with the gun was reported to be passing through cars in the emergency lane right? As well as swerving through traffic?

That's a good point. Maybe he didn't know. Maybe he just saw an erratic driver and decided to drive alongside to take a video. I would have taken a video of his plates and of his car to show the erratic driving. No telling when an erratic driver will decide to run you off the road but hey, that's just me.

yup, that's my point. if i see someone driving erratically, i would take pic / video of the plate and car and inform authority. but heck if i know he has a gun, no freaking way i would be anything close. that's why i am always under the impression the guy didn't know, that's why when he saw the gun, you saw the guy scramble to put down the phone and his car swerved. now if he knew the guy had a gun and still shoot video side by side, that's just stupid

if it were in my state...the cops would give u a ticket for filming on the freeway. LoL!!!
