who has a hi-mileage Lexus?

99 LS400 - just about to flip to 160k miles. I purchased it 4 yrs ago with 105k on it from an old man. Only reason he sold it was because he got a deal on an LS430. Other than maintenance items (brakes/tires/bulbs) I've never needed to take it in for repair.
The wife drives an '02 Highlander 2WD V6 and it has 106k on it. Just had a failed sensor a couple of weeks ago that threw the CEL but other than that it's also only been maintenance items.
I'll be selling the LS this spring if I can find a deal on a clean '07 GS350.

hi guys, own a 99gs 400 and to tell you the truth, i wouldn t have asked for another car. i lost my job and for 1yr did not work or do a single maintainance to my car because of lack of money but this car kept on going and going and going. the only probem i had was my alternator which i replaced. i love lexus because my car stood by me when i had nothing and now i am about to go back to work, ill return the favor

I'm considering a used LS430, because I have a 2000 Camry I bought new with 190,000+ miles that has required NOTHING but a cam drive belt & waterpump, the latter a precaution at 95,000 miles. I change the oil, Mobil 1, and have had the trany oil changed twice. Even the rear brakes are original! Wonderful car, and gets 36 mpg on flat country in the midwest.
