Probably doesn't matter. I'm sure they keep a log of the odometer mileage when they're checked out and back in. That was my experience driving vehicles owned by my University(Although they never asked about the big dent my boss put into the rear bumper of a brand new 2013 Suburban we were sharing).

The mileage isn't a problem...doing 198 mph is a bit irresponsible though lol
Perhaps they left it on purpose. I would definitely flaunt hitting 198. Who says that it occurred on public roads (irresponsibly)? Additionally it's a Ferrarri. Even with the trip computer reset they have some of the most advanced on board telemetry tech of anyone, so it would be seen by someone anyway.

Though the days of analog odometers and this kind of crap are pretty much gone, even today's electronic odometers aren't necessarily completely tamper-proof.
