Cadillac and pricing...

kind of like Infiniti. They make good cars, BUT a large part of the appeal is the pricing and blow out lease deals. I can see they are moving away from that BUT I think they are moving away faster than their rep is coming up....slightly . Its a pretty big jump from last gen price to current gen

It starts at $59,995 according to motorweek. I am assuming you put anything worth while on it and it jumps to 70K. Motor week usually gives the base prices . Thats what I was quoting. For 70K there is no way in HELL I would drop that kind of money on a cadillac . These dudes are pushing Benz prices with Caddy name. Its 2013 not 1955. These guys need to realize they dont have the same reputation for quality , style , or refinement they did back in the day. Even if the cars are objectively better its will take years to improve the name of the brand and decades to get back to where they want to be. I personally dont think Cadillac will ever have the rep they did back in the day. Too little too late and too much competition

It's a shame that they dropped the CTS wagon this year (though some Cadillac people claim, true or not, that it still can be special-ordered). Now THERE was, IMO, a sharp-looking car.

Thats the right move, unless your goal is to sell cars. Its not like this is some niche car, this is a very important car to Cadillac's success, and its in what is IMHO the most competitive segment in the luxury market.
