Upscale borderline Premium but not Luxury. Uninspired and somewhat boring interior. Big fan of the exterior. Thank goodness for the R-Spec model

But I've got to say Lexus needs to give the GS's tail lamps some character.

They have a ton of character when they're on...

Agreed, lighting has been used by automakers to help make cars more distinct.

I really hated the fact that Mercedes lost the quad headlamp design for the latest E-Class. One night I was driving and saw a silver one on the road. I immediately gave the car more respect when I saw what they did with the headlamps or rather the LED design which pays homage to older E-Classes with it's "quad look"

Love the rear. The front is proportionally off somehow. I'm not too fond of the grill though. It looks like the car has a shield blocking it's face.

with the E class LED effect, they should have made it standard. Not all E classes get that quad look, which is a signature of the car

I still can't believe HIDs/LEDs aren't standard in this class. The 5, A6 and E all have halogens standard.

I kind of agree with you there, but I do know some people specifically chose the halogen lights and don't like the HID. I don't know why, but there are people out there like that. So I guess having a choice is still a good thing. Those that want it pay for it. Those that don't save a little.

I guess choice is always a good thing. I don't know who would ever prefer HIDs over halogens though lol.

actually LEDs are standard on the E class, but you need to pay 1500 more for the active ones, which only then include the quad design

I don't think so. Every other one I've seen rolling around has halogens. Or at least from what I saw.

Fun fact- those are the standard LED headlights. The other headlight design you see are the upgraded units that swivel, have the adjustable range high beam, etc.

Holy cr*p! Hyundai has gone retro! So THIS is what the interior of the Crown Vic would have looked like if updated!
Not good!
